Formed by a trio of seasoned musicians with a shared passion for classic synth-pop, emotive melodies, and electronic beats, Magickal Era is a Norwegian musical project that bridges the gap between nostalgic sounds and modern pop production.

Annstein Garnes
The creative visionary behind the band's songwriting. With deep roots in the Norwegian music community and experience running his own indie label (Norske Alternative Artister), Annstein crafts the poignant lyrics and memorable melodies that form the emotional core of Magickal Era's universe.
Rune Tønnessen
The distinctive voice of the band. A veteran of the Norwegian music scene with previous solo releases (including the album Daggry), Rune brings the lyrics to life with a vocal delivery that can shift seamlessly from fragile melancholy to powerful, stadium-ready pop anthems.
Stig Erik Antonsen
As the sonic architect of Magickal Era, Stig is a highly respected veteran of the Norwegian music scene. He is best known worldwide as the founder and mastermind behind the massive 90s Eurodance group Reset, whose 1999 hit "Blue" remains one of Norway's best-selling dance singles. His golden touch also includes producing Solfaktor X's gold-certified smash "Status Ku" and driving projects like Snikksnakk and Secret Wish. Now, Stig brings his platinum-selling experience and pop intuition to Magickal Era, ensuring every track delivers maximum emotional and sonic impact.

Jørund Bøgeberg
A highly respected Norwegian bass player, renowned for his iconic work with a-ha and Savoy. His deep, melodic grooves and seasoned playing add an incredible organic depth to the electronic soundscapes.
Matt Pop
The internationally acclaimed Dutch DJ, producer, and remixer. Known for his official remixes for pop royalty like Erasure, Kim Wilde, and RuPaul, Matt brings his signature uplifting, hi-NRG 80s-style sparkle to the club hit "Girlfriend".
